DAVID Wise stormed to victory in the weekend stableford at Caversham Heath with a superb 23 points on his back nine.

Wise (8hcp) recorded four three-point scores and one four-point score as he came home to take victory.

However, he was not the only one to have 23 points on his back nine as runner-up Deighton Sear (9hcp) followed suit – his tally including five three-point scores, and seven pars.

There were five players all clamouring for third spot with Lee Kirton (10hcp) getting the nod on countback from Michael Deignan (6hcp), Chris Green (5hcp), Gareth Goodall (6hcp) and Gary Pugh (5hcp), all with 36 points.

Division Two winner was Benjamin Curran (11hcp) with 41 points. Andy Holmes (16hcp) was second and Gareth Ford (12hcp) took third place on countback from Adam Paul Baker (18hcp), both with 38 points.

Curran recorded 12 pars in his total while Holmes had two four-point scores and three three-point scores in his 25 points going out.

Darren Lawrence (19hcp) won Division Three with 43 points. Mark Russell (26hcp) was runner-up with 38 points and third was Raef North (28hcp) with 37 points.

Twos were recorded by Mark Potter (8th hole), and Christopher Bennett and Andy King (17th).

  • JONATHON Fleming (4hcp) took the Division One prize in the midweek stableford with 42 points – his tally including 14 pars, three birdies and one bogey.

Runner-up was Kirton (10hcp), on countback from Mario Atkinson (18hcp), both with 39 points.

Division Two winner was Adrian Ford (23hcp) with 36 points. Second was Fung Yee Sarah Lau (21hcp) with 35 points and third was John Endersby (19hcp) with 34.

Twos were recorded by Endersby (8th), Jack Russell (13th) and Andy King (17th).

  • ANGELA Adamson (35hcp) won the first ladies' stableford of the year with 35 points.

Runner-up was Lau (21hcp) with 33 points and third was Caroline Dover (26hcp, pictured) with 31 points.
