Pensioner rescued from lift

The crew from Wokingham Road fire station were called to Beech House care home in Crockhamwell Road, Woodley, at 4pm yesterday when the lift company did not have a maintenance engineer available..
They winched the lift to the next level and opened the doors to release the elderly lady within several minutes.
She was not injured.
