A DISTRACTION burglary saw two men trick their way into a Woodley resident's house.

At about 4pm on Tuesday, a man came to the front door of a Wheble Drive property and asked a 32 year-old man if he needed any gardening done.

While the victim was in the garden with the door knocker, two other men entered the property and searched the two upstairs bedrooms.

Although it is not clear if anything was stolen from the property, police are looking for a white man, aged in his mid twenties, 5ft 9ins, with a large build, slight stubble with dark brown hair. He was wearing a long sleeved shirt, dark jeans and spoke with non-British accent.

An Asian man, in his late twenties, 5ft 9ins with a slim build is also sought after. He has short black curly hair and was wearing a black T-shirt and dark jeans.

No description is currently available for the third offender.

All three men ran away from the property in the direction of Howarth Drive. It is believed the offenders' vehicle was parked close to the Wheble Drive address.
