Fire crews called to suspected arson
FIREFIGHTERS were called to Woodley after a car was set on fire in the early hours of the morning.
The crew from Wokingham Road fire station were called to Colemansmoor Road after a Mercedes was found ablaze.
The fire caused extensive damage to the white C250 but no one was injured.
Investigating Officer, Detective Sargent Will Crowther, said: "We believe that this fire was started deliberately, we are looking for anyone who may have information about this incident to come forward.
"If you have any information about the incident please call the 24-hour Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101."
