THIS is the man police want to speak to after a teenager was kicked in the ribs and robbed of his mobile phone in Thatcham.

At around 4pm on Friday, December 16 two 12-year-old boys were scooting along Station Road near the Co-op when they were approached by a man cycling towards them.

The man elbowed the boy, causing him to fall into the bushes before he kicked him in the midriff and got back on his bike and cycled away with the phone which was later recovered in Horne Road.

Thames Valley Police are appealing for witnesses regarding the incident which has left the boy scared and worried to leave his home.

The offender is white, 5ft 8ins, in his 20s or early 30s with a muscular build. He wore a bandana covering just his nose area, which had a pattern with red stars on it.

He had pale skin with stubble on his chin. Short, curly light brown hair with big bushy eyebrows with two dark circles under each eye.

His sleeves were rolled up and he was also wearing a rubber bracelet on his wrist which was purple and bright green in colour.

He was also wearing a black hooded top with Adidas across the chest and the hood was down. He also wearing a dark jogging bottoms.

The bottoms had white stripes down either side of the legs which were both ripped at the knee. 

He wore black Nike trainers with a blue sole.
