The woman was on the M4 when she fell into a diabetes induced coma and her car hit the central reservation at 4.20 this evening
Newbury Fire crew were called to the scene as was the air ambulance.
The fire crew took the door off of the car and the woman was transported to The Great Western Hospital in Swindon by a normal ambulance.
One lane of the M4 Eastbound between J14, Hungerford and J13, Chieveley was closed and severe delays remain around the area. All lanes are now reopened.
