WITH people in Whitley living around nine years less than those in Caversham a church is holding a healing service.
St Agnes Church, in Northumberland Avenue, Whitley, is holding a healing service led by Vernon Orr on Sunday, November 23, to thank the doctors and to ask for God’s healing.
Vernon Orr said: “The service is open to everybody and there will be the opportunity for those who would like it to be prayed for. “Physical, emotional, mental and spiritual illness can be prayed for in the name of Jesus. Others may simply wish to come to the service and enjoy the healing presence of God.”
