FIREFIGHTERS rescued a cow that had fallen into the River Thames today.
Crews from Dee Road and a water rescue team from Caversham Road fire stations were called at 5pm to a part of the river behind Tilehurst Station.
The cow managed to get itself out while they were there and wasn't hurt.
