AN 82-year-old woman fell over and broke her arm after a vicious thug snatched her handbag.
The pensioner had just got off a bus in Holly Bush Lane, Burghfield Common, at 1pm on Tuesday, May 29, when a man walking away from Willink School grabbed her handbag and ran off.
The victim was taken to Royal Berkshire Hospital after falling over to be treated for a broken arm and minor cuts.
Police are keen to trace a man who was driving along the road and stopped to help the pensioner up and escort her home, where a friend took over.
