THERESA May made a special and unexpected appearance at the annual Sonning Show.
The Prime Minister took a break from Brexit to join in with hundreds of guests at Sonning Church of England School on Saturday, September 16.
Contests in arts and crafts and flower arranging were held throughout the day and donations were made to support a range of community groups and charities.
Carole Collier, organiser of the show, which has been running since the 1960s, said: “There were plenty of pictures of the Prime Minister hand drawn by the local children.
“Both the climbing wall and Reading Blue Coat School brass quintet were a successful addition to the afternoons entertainment.
“Most of all, the show committee would like to thank Sonning School and all the village organisations for their continued support.”
The event finished with an evening at The Sonning Club with live music and a BBQ.
