A Pet store is giving youngsters the chance to get hands-on with furry friends during a series of free workshops.
Pets at Home in Tilehurst is offering youngsters the chance to learn about small animals including rabbits.
Dominic Holman, store manager, said: “Our informative workshops help families understand what’s involved in being a responsible pet owner.
"What’s more they’re also a fun and free way for children to get up close and personal with small furry animals and rabbits during the holidays.”
The store will not sell rabbits from Good Friday to Easter Monday to educate children abouy the long term commitment of pet ownership.
Meanwhile staff will share their expertise on pet care. The free sessions will help prepare future pet owners.
