A VAN driver was being hunted by police after a collision put two people in hospital, it was revealed today.
The dark coloured van was in collision with a Seat Ibiza, causing minor injuries to the occupants.
However, the driver of the van did not stop to check on the injured people and instead fled the scene in Henley Road, Caversham, on Tuesday night.
Anyone with information was urged to contact Thames Valley Police on 101.
The occupants of the Seat were taken to hospital following the collision, shortly after 6.30pm, but were later discharged.
A spokesman for Thames Valley Police said: "A Seat Ibiza and a dark coloured van were in a collision in Henley Road, Caversham.
“Prior to the collision the van had been driven out of Cromwell Road.
“The driver of the dark coloured van failed to stop at the scene."
