A MAN has been charged with driving without due care and attention after a collision in Prospect Street which left a woman seriously injured.
Alex Previdi was charged with the offence yesterday following the Caversham crash on January 11.
The 31-year-old of Yarnells Hill, North Hinksey, Oxford has since been bailed to appear at Reading Magistrates' Court on April 4.
The woman, in her fifties, was left with serious injuries and was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford for treatment.
A spokesman for Thames Valley Police said: "The charge is in connection with a collision on 11 January 2016 in Prospect Street in Caversham.
"Previdi was arrested on 11 January and charged yesterday. He has been bailed to appear at Reading Magistrates’ Court on 4 April."
