FIREFIGHTERS came to the rescue of two teenage shoppers stuck in a lift today (Saturday).
A crew from Caversham Road station were called to Sports Direct, in Broad Street, around 5pm after workers raised the alarm.
The pair of young girls were quickly set free by crew members who worked on overriding the lift controls.
