Although the weather is steadily getting warmer, Berkshire is still experiencing a considerable amount of rain. 

With that in mind the government have released the latest flood warnings for the county. 

Here are the most recent updates for flooding in your area: 

River Lambourn and its tributaries from Upper Lambourn down to Newbury

Property flooding is not expected.

River levels on the Lambourn and its tributaries are high due to high groundwater levels and recent heavy rainfall. Flooding of low lying land and roads is expected to continue today 

 Groundwater flooding in the Leckhampstead area

Groundwater levels are high but stable at our Chapel Wood borehole in the Leckhampstead area. Groundwater levels are above normal for this time of year and are at a level where communities may continue to be affected by groundwater flooding.

Groundwater levels are steady, but the catchment remains sensitive to further rainfall due to saturated ground and high groundwater levels and groundwater water levels may rise again following recent rainfall.

Groundwater flooding in West Ilsley, East Ilsley, Compton, Chilton and West

Groundwater levels are high but currently stable at our Hodcott borehole near West Ilsley, East Ilsley and Compton as a result of recent rainfall.

Groundwater levels are above normal for this time of year and are at a level where communities may continue to be affected by groundwater flooding.

River Pang from East Ilsley to Pangbourne and Sulham Brook

Property flooding is not currently expected.

River levels are high on the River Pang and Sulham Brook following recent rainfall and high groundwater levels. Flooding of low lying land and roads is expected to continue over the coming days. 

River Kennet from Thatcham down to Reading

River levels remain high on the lower River Kennet following recent rainfall and due to high groundwater levels particularly in the Theale area.

Levels are now starting to fall slowly. Flooding of low lying land and roads is expected to continue today.

Property flooding is not expected.

River Thames for Henley, Remenham, Medmenham and its tributaries

Property flooding is not currently expected. River levels remain high on the River Thames at Henley, Renmenham and Medmenham following a period of sustained rainfall.

Therefore, flooding of low lying land and roads is expected to continue today.
