MANY of you will remember this time last year, when the festival organisers were urging people not to bring pineapples with them.
This was because a song by Glass Animals contained the lyric ‘pineapples are in my head’ and this encouraged fans to smuggle in the so-called forbidden fruit.
Fortunately, the list of banned items for this year is much easier to remember and far less fruity...
The following items are banned from the arena and campsite:
- Aerosols over 250ml
- Air horns and megaphones
- Gas canisters
- Animals
- Unauthorised trading goods
- Weapons
- Drones
- Fireworks
- Firewood
- Glass
- Paper lanterns
These items may be taken into the campsite only:
- Alcohol (18+)
- Audio recorders
- Bags larger than A4 size
- Camping equipment
- Cans
- Chairs
- Cigarettes
- Disposable barbecues
- Food and drinks (up to 500ml)
- Gazebos
