A TEAM of fundraisers marked the end of their time at school by cycling 950 miles for charity.
Five youngsters from Blue Coat School, Sonning, pedalled from Land’s End to John O’Groats over 14 days to raise more than £4,000 for the Alexander Jansons Foundation.
Loic Pohl, Ewan Morgan, James Still, James Hastings and Ed Martin decided to help the charity and fund research into myocarditis, an inflammatory condition of the heart.
Jesse Elzinga, headmaster at Blue Coat, said: “They can be very proud of their extraordinary achievement.
"It takes real strength of character to accomplish such a remarkable feat and I feel confident that this will enable these young men to achieve great things in the future.”
The five fundraisers will soon receive their A-Level results and they spent a memorable fortnight together, taking in the surrounds of Cornwall and Scotland on their way to the finish line.
