A SCHOOL in South Oxfordshire has been forced to close today due to a power cut.
Chiltern Edge School, in Sonning Common, has been experiencing site-wide powercuts throughout the day, and engineers have confirmed that power will not be consistently restored until after 2pm.
An email sent out to parents advised that the school has been forced to close for the day.
Bus companies have been called to collect pupils from the school.
Students sitting their GCSE Physics exam will be able to complete their test, however they will need to make alternative arrangements to get home.
