A FUNDRAISER has been set up to replace a stolen mobility scooter.
Last week, The Chronicle broke the news that an elderly mad had his mobility scooter stolen.
Ron Pett, 84, had received the scooter as a gift for his birthday, and used it to get around town and to the local shops.
Sadly, on Monday April 16, the couple discovered that their garage had been raided and the scooter taken.
Sarah Kirton has created a fundraiser to replace the scooter.
She explained: "I think it’s just an awful thing to happen to them, it’s their only means of transport, and I just wanted to do something to replace it."
