PATIENTS at the Royal Berkshire Hospital have received another donation of knitwear thanks to the generous efforts of John Lewis customers.
Staff from the voluntary services team visited the retail giant to thank members of the Haberdashery department, who have knitted and co-ordinated this year's campaign.
John Lewis first started donating items to the hospital 10 years ago and continues to receive a steady stream of donations from loyal shoppers.
Joanna Evans, marketing co-ordinator, said: "We are hugely proud to serve as a link between the community and Royal Berkshire Hospital, providing much needed items including blankets, baby hats and cardigans.
"We want to say a huge thank you to all of our customers, who kindly donate these beautiful items and will continue to develop our relationship with the Hospital to ensure that these vital donations get to those who need them most."
