A TEENAGE girl has been charged in connection with a double stabbing in Reading.
The 15-year-old was charged with two counts of GBH with intent and once count of possession of a knife in a public place.
The charges are in connection with an incident at Rivermead Leisure Centre in Reading on November 8 last year, in which a 13-year-old girl sustained a serious stab wound to her stomach and a 14-year-old girl sustained wounds to her shoulder and leg.
The girl was bailed to appear at Reading Youth Court on April 4.
At the time, a spokesman for Thames Valley Police said: "At around 7.30pm yesterday (November 8) a group of teenagers met on a field at Rivermead Leisure Complex off Richfield Avenue where a verbal argument broke out."
"During the altercation which subsequently became physical, the victims, two girls aged 13 and 14, were injured with a knife.
"Officers and the ambulance service attended the scene."
