Yes Reading should continue to invest in art and culture.

Art and culture in Reading helps to build our diverse community and improves quality of life whilst inspiring education and our town’s identity. Economic benefit should not be ignored – art and culture attracts tourism and ensures retention of a high quality workforce.

If the council want the residents of Reading to be creative, innovative and imaginative then having a vibrant art and culture community is the easiest way to do this.
