CLIVE LAURENCE CLIFT, 37, of Wokingham Road, Reading, admitted to stealing a Dorma bedspread worth £114.99 from Dunelm Mill in Calcot on April 15, 2016, and to assaulting two men in Calcot on the same day. He was ordered to pay £114.99 in compensation and £170 in costs and was ordered to carry out 80 hours of unpaid work.

NUNO VINAGRE, 41, of Manchester Road, Reading, was ordered to pay a total of £330 after admitting he beat a man on Gun Street, Reading, on July 11, 2016.

THOMAS PRICE, 26, of Park Street, Wellington, admitted assaulting a female police constable and three other people in Reading on May 25, 2016. He was given a 10 week suspended sentence and ordered to pay compensation of £200.

ABDUL SESAY, 24, of Elm Park Road, Reading, was convicted of obstructing or resisting a police officer in Reading on May 8, 2016. He was fined £250 and ordered to pay £275 in costs.

COSTEL RADU, 21, of George Street, Reading, admitted driving a silver Renault Index on Oxford Road, Reading, while over the limit. He had 76 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath and was fined £200, ordered to pay £115 in costs and was disqualified from driving for 18 months.

TOPAZ CATLYN, 22, of Linden Road, Reading, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour to cause harassment in Reading on July 7, 2016. She was fined £80 and ordered to pay £115 costs.

IIONA FREW, 27, of Hemdean Road, Caversham, admitted being drunk and disorderly while on Forbury Road, Reading, on July 3, 2016, and assaulting a police officer at Loddon Valley Police Station, Earley, on the same day. She was discharged conditionally for 12 months and ordered to pay £50 in compensation and £105 in costs.

OVIDIU RAZVAN TIMOFTE, 31, of Cholmeley Road, Reading, admitted stealing four bottles of rose wine worth £28 from the Marks and Spencer on Friar Street, Reading on August 9, 2016, and three bottles worth £25.50 from the same shop on August 7. As the defendant was on bail when the offences took place he was given an eight week suspended sentence.

ERIC SMITH, 27, of The Maying, Whitley, admitted using threatening language or behaviour to cause fear or provoke unlawful violence while in Reading on February 2, 2016. He was discharged conditionally for 18 months and ordered to pay £125 in compensation and £100 in costs.

AARON MARTIN SUFFIN, 28, of the Maying, Whitley, was found to have used threatening language or behaviour to cause fear or provoke unlawful violence while in Reading on February 2, 2016. He was discharged conditionally for two years and ordered to pay £125 in compensation and £315 in costs.

VAJHI REHMAN MALIK, 32, of Linden Road, Reading, admitted carrying out a string of theft offences including stealing two iPods from a car in Woodley, a CD, sunglasses, a screwdriver and a stanley knife from another car in Woodley and a multi tool, CDs, screwdrivers and a chisel from yet another car in Woodley. All offences took place on July 31, 2016. He was sentenced to 120 days in prison and ordered to pay £115 in costs.

SHANNON MARIE SMITH, 22, from Wellingtonia Avenue, Wokingham, admitted stealing clothing worth £127 from Matalan in Reading. She was discharged conditionally for nine months and ordered to pay costs of £120.

DANIEL CHALLIS, 25, of Peppard Road, Reading, admitted driving a silver Corsa on Richfield Avenue, Reading with 49 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath on January 1, 2016. He was fined £450, ordered to pay costs of £345 and was disqualified from driving for 36 months.

NEIL AKHTAR, 30, of Highgrove Street, Reading, admitted being in possession of cannabis while on Basingstoke Road, Reading, on January 28, 2016. He was fined £75 and ordered to pay costs of £105.

DAVINDER SINGH, 36, of Adelaide Road, Reading, admitted driving a BMW on Adelaide Road with 117 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, without a license and without insurance on August 3, 2016. He also admitted that he failed to stop after a road accident and was found to be in possession of cocaine. He was ordered to carry out 160 hours of unpaid work, to pay costs and fines totalling £770 and was banned from driving for 26 months.

ANDREW WELLS, 48, of London Road, Reading, admitted beating a woman in Tilehurst on April 23, 2016. He was discharged conditionally for four months and ordered to pay costs of £105.

BRANDON WEST, 18, of Ellington Park, Maidenhead, admitted beating a man at Sonning Cutting Filling Station on London Road, Woodley, on March 22, 2016. He was given an eight week suspended sentence and ordered to pay £100 in compensation and £200 in costs.

CHRISTOPHER MARSHALL, 45, of Waylen Street, Reading, was found to have beaten a woman in Reading on July 25, 2016. He was ordered to carry out 40 hours of unpaid work and to pay costs of £145.

ROBERT JOHN BRINDLEY DEE, 38, Christchurch Road, Reading, admitted to a string of theft offences including stealing a t-shirt and sleeveless jacket worth £113 from Hollister in the Oracle on February 9, 2016 and stealing a suitcase worth £78.99 from Sports Direct on August 22, 2015. He was given a six week sentence and ordered to pay £115 in costs.
