RELATIVES of a lorry driver who was killed in a collision on the M4 have paid tribute to a “devoted family”.

Graham Elliott, from Dagenham, died when the vehicle overturned between junctions 12 and 11 of the eastbound carriageway in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

His family have since published this picture of them together with the father-of-two and a statement in honour of him.

It reads: “Graham Elliott, aged 49, a devoted family man was tragically killed on the M4 motorway on 11th May 2016.

“He leaves behind a wife and two children aged 16 and 23 who have been devastated by this terrible accident.”

Following the crash five lanes of the motorway had to be closed and the London-bound side remained shut for nearly 20 hours to allow the clean-up operation after motor parts and oil spilled out and damaged the road surface.

As a result Wednesday saw huge delays in the Reading area with gridlocked streets throughout and many commuters being stuck on the M4 for more than six hours.
