Marc Antoni hair salons have smashed their £15,000 target to raise money for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research.

This charity is now known as Bloodwise and is very close to the hair salon's hearts leading to a fund raising effort almost reaching £22,000.

The five strong salon group rode in a four day endurance ride from London to Paris at the end of September.

Bruno Giamattei, founder and owner, said: “I had no idea how hard and painful the ride would be and how emotional the whole experience would be. I’m so proud of everyone that’s taken part and everyone who has also supported us, we never dreamed we would raise so much.”

The team started raising money with company bikeathons and activities in the salon, as an ongoing commitment, to raise money for the charity since one of the salon's owners, Simon Giamattei, was diagnosed with leukaemia in January 2013.

The team including the four Giamattei brothers, Bruno, Simon, Marcus and Aaron were joined by artistic Team members Altin Ismaili and Dan Spiller along with industry friend Kai Wan from Pkai Hair.
