GILES Derek Arthur Esso Blue Man of Reading. Passed away peacefully at home on 29th July, aged 87 years, surrounded by his loving family. He will be sadly missed by his wife June and children Sue, Graham, Linda and Andrew, as well as, his many relatives and friends. The funeral service will take place at Reading Crematorium, South Chapel on Friday 17th August at 11.30am. Family request smart casual only, no black to be worn at the service. Very sad to hear of the loss of this man, i grew up with the family going to school with graham, and as stated, derek was the esso blue man, still go past the old family home and still remember the good times we had , god bless you sir, and my love and condolences to all, sorry i never made the funeral, have only just seen this, god bless
