Bowls: Fine start to indoor season for Whiteknights
WHITEKNIGHTS Ladies beat Handy Cross 102-59 in the first round of the Yetton Competition which comprises of four rinks of four players, two playing at home and two away.
Whiteknights men beat Desborough 79-74 in the Denny Cup, played via the same format.
In a mixed friendly for the John Spinks Trophy, Whiteknights lost 170-127 to Wokingham, but the club won their annual away game at the Isle of Wight 108-98.
