Former Reading FC transfer target linked with Premier League switch
A former Reading FC transfer target could be on the way to the Premier League, according to reports.
The Telegraph are reporting that Diego Rossi is on the radar of Tottenham and Everton.
The 23-year-old forward, who plays in Major League Soccer (MLS) with Los Angeles FC, was heavily linked with a move in January but Reading failed to seal a deal for the striker.
Veljko Paunovic acknowledged the rumours at the time that linked Rossi with a move in the region of €10m.
Rossi has made a name for himself in the MLS, earning a spot in the MLS All-Star match in 2019 and in the league’s Best XI in 2020.
The Uruguayan has recorded 45 goals and 20 assists in only 90 appearances for LAFC.
