Reading FC have announced another pre-season fixture.
The Royals will play host to Charlton Athletic on Saturday, July 24 in a behind-closed-doors game, kicking off at 2pm.
Former Royals manager Nigel Adkins will bring his Addicks side to Berkshire three days after the Royals host West Ham United.

It will be a first return to the Madejski Stadium for Chris Gunter following his departure in 2020 after eight years at the club.

The club has confirmed that the game will be streamed live on the club website, with further details to be announced closer to the date.
Previously, manager Veljko Paunovic stated that there had been plans to take his side to Scotland during the pre-season period.
As of yet, no further details have been confirmed in relation to the potential trip to Scotland.
