With the news that Jose Gomes has reportedly been sacked as Reading manager, plenty of potential names have already been linked with the role.
Various outlets have said that Gomes has been dismissed by the board following a run of poor results and fans have aired their views on Twitter.
Names have come to light in the past couple of hours and one name has cropped up more than others - Mark Hughes.
Hughes is good friends with Mark Bowen, who has been tasked with finding Gomes' replacement.
The two played together for Wales and Bowen was on the coaching staff at QPR and Stoke when Hughes was in charge.
According to Courtney Friday, Hughes' name was mentioned weeks ago should results not pick up.
