Reading fans took to Twitter in the wake of their 1-0 defeat to Bristol City at Ashton Gate.
The result saw Reading drop into the bottom three of the Championship and leave the Royals winless since August 24.
Fans are getting increasingly concerned at the run and some Royals supporters assessed their plight on Twitter:
Seriously, what is wrong with people around Reading FC? Sacking managers every 6 months is everything that is wrong with football these days. Let's not turn into that club. #readingfc #GomesIn

Unpopular opinion. I wouldn't sack Gomez even if we got relegated. #readingfc

We all knew about Ejaria and Meite, but I was well impressed with Lucas Boye when he came on.

After everything he did for us last season u cant sack him after a poor start to the season. Give him time and results will come just like last season. In jose i trust x#readingfc @ReadingFC
I don’t see the solution being to chuck another manager out. He’s been great for the fans saying the right thing in interviews and with all the positive things he’s done with the club, he needs time to turn this around #readingfc #club1871
