Reading manager Jose Gomes is hoping Yakou Meite will be available for selection on Saturday against Huddersfield Town after the striker missed the trip to The Hawthorns with a foot injury.
Meite wasn't part of the squad that drew 1-1 with West Brom on Wednesday evening but Gomes is keeping his fingers crossed that he will return quickly.
He said: "I hope so. I will see. We have training before the game so I will see how he is but I hope he will be available."
With everyone else having a clean bill of health, it is only long-termer Tyler Blackett who is still out injured and the manager also had an update on Jordan Obita.
He added: "He hasn't started working with the team so we will see.
"Jordan Obita played 45 minutes the other day and then in the last game he played 60 minutes so the plan is for him to play 90 minutes in the next game so we want him to feel comfortable."
