GOALS from Ashley Balfour, Andy Parslow and Connor Banks proved decisive as Berks County reached the quarter finals of the Berkshire Trophy Centre Senior Cup with a 3-2 success at Woodley United Royals, writes Richard Ashton.

Adam King had earlier opened the scoring for Royals, with their other goal coming from a deflected Callum Samuel-Harman effort.

Reading YMCA also advanced with a 5-0 demolition of Burghfield FC, while a Liam Lewendon treble and goals from Hayden Best and Liam Goddard helped South Reading beat Marlow United Reserves by the same margin in the Intermediate Cup.

Wraysbury Village were dumped out of the Slough & Windsor Challenge Cup after they lost 3-2 at Old Windsor, while Goring United crashed out of the Oxfordshire Junior Shield following a 2-1 home defeat against Stonesfield Sports. Javier Marzo scored for Goring.

In the Premier Division, table-toppers Woodcote Stoke Row eased to a 3-0 success at Highmoor Ibis United, Mike Davies, Ryan Corbett and Jake Tucker getting the goals.

Second-placed Wright & Unity Sports stay level on points with WSR following their 2-1 victory at Newbury, Daniel Langford netting for the home side.

A Surdariu Catalin brace kept Marlow United in the title race with a 2-1 success at Mortimer, while Westwood United won by the same margin at Taplow United, despite James Oldham netting for the home side.

Matt Booth bagged a brace and Toby Morgan was also on target as Wokingham & Emmbrook Reserves shocked Cookham Dean 3-2.

Richings Park climbed to second in Division One following a 1-0 victory at Cookham Dean Reserves, while Reading YMCA Rapids overcame high-flying FC Imaan Lions 2-0.

Oliver Bridges got the only goal of the game as Hurst triumphed 1-0 at Westwood United Reserves.

A stunning Nick Payne hat-trick and a Luke Handley strike earned Finchampstead a 4-3 victory against Eldon Celtic, while Jake Brooks scored for Maidenhead Town in their 1-1 draw at Rotherfield United.

Bailey Goodenough, Craig Antcliffe and Tom Brownlow were on the scoresheet to help Woodcote Stoke Row Reserves earn a 3-3 draw at home to Hurst Reserves in Division Two, while leaders FC Woodley thumped Harchester Hawks 5-1.

A stoppage-time winner from Lukasz Hryniewicz earned White Eagles a 2-1 victory at Brimpton Athletic, while goals from Daniel Budd and Callum Shields secured a 2-2 draw for Berks County Reserves in their home game with AFC Corinthians.

Substitute Paul Lyall scored a memorable hat-trick as Maidenhead Town Reserves went top of Division Three with an 8-0 drubbing of Taplow United Reserves.
