WOODLEY United hit top form with a 5-2 home victory against Mortimer in the Premier Division, writes Richard Ashton.

Woodley got off to a flying start when Rob Timbers, man-of-the-match Danny Blatchford and Murray Dick put them 3-0 up inside 20 minutes.

Mortimer hit back with two quick goals, but a second-half double from Pete Shay sealed the deal.

Second-placed Tilehurst YM sealed back-to-back wins with a 3-2 success at 116 Exiles, an own goal and strikes from Olly Gould and Andy Campbell doing the damage, while Athletico Forest beat Southcote Colts A 2-0.

In the Senior Division, champions Dee Road Rangers dropped their first points of the season in a 2-2 home draw with Emmer Green.

The Tilehurst Club won 2-1 at Purley, Reading Irish overcame Kidmore End/The Mod 3-1 and Woodley Wanderers hammered Richfield Rovers 6-2.

In Division One, high-flying The Bull eased past S.C. United 4-1, Henley Town lost 4-3 to Burghfield and AFC Bradfield cruised past WS Hobnob 5-2.

Division Two leaders Sportsman battered 116 Exiles Reserves 7-0.

Berkshire Rovers edged out Wokingham & Emmbrook 3-2, Southbank beat Forest FC 2-1 and Coley Park destroyed Whitley Athletic 7-0.

Englefield made it four Division Three wins from four with a battling 2-1 victory at Mortimer Reserves, while Twyford Comets smashed Loddon Valley Rangers 6-2.

Southcote Colts won an extraordinary game 9-4 at FC Showcase, Delta Vigo beat Toga Sports 5-2, Barton Rovers squeezed past Tilehurst Titans 3-2 and AFC Lowfield Green won 5-0 at AFC Pangbourne.

Division Four table-toppers Theale secured a comfortable 4-0 success at Shinfield Rangers.

Borussia Teeth prevailed in a goal-fest 8-4 at Sanctuary Strikers, Tilehurst Club A picked up a 4-0 home win against Six Bells, Calcot Royals beat The Bugle 3-1 and South Reading obliterated Burghfield Reserves 8-0.

Fox & Hounds edged out Shinfield Park United 2-1, while New England triumphed 3-2 against Caversham United.

In the second round of the Berks & Bucks Junior Cup, Eldon Celtic beat Woolhampton CFC 3-0, Richfield Rovers Reserves smashed Loxwood 4-0, Arborfield won 2-0 at AFC Caversham and Polonia Reading crushed AFC Burghfield Reserves 6-0.

Pangbourne & Basildon Barbarians advanced with a 4-1 home success against Spencers Wood, Tilehurst Club Reserves sneaked past Reading United 4-3 and Woodley Wanderers Reserves lost 5-3 to Binfield Royals.

Park Villa beat The Taste of England 2-1, Brimpton Rangers knocked out Berkshire Arms 1-0 and Maiden Place eliminated Parklife Rovers 5-2.
