TOBY Greatwood hit an outstanding unbeaten century as HCPL Division Two leaders Wargrave drew at Thame Town. He made a run-a-ball 111, helped by three sixes and 12 fours in his side's total of 244-9. Rob Farina scored 40 and Mayank Gudimetla 23, the latter sharing a seventh-wicket stand of 76 with Greatwood after six wickets had gone down for 79 in 20 overs, Mayank Gudimetla taking 5-80.
Thame just managed to hold on for a draw at 226-9 with their last pair, Brad Watson and Foa Fasanya, holding out for six overs and scoring 21 runs.
Wargrave, who have a 13-point lead over Oxford, are home to seventh-in-the-table Horspath this Saturday, the visitors snapping a three-match losing run by beating Ickenham last weekend.
In Thames Valley League Division 1B, Praful Waghela made 106 off 197 balls in Reading's 260-5 against Finchampstead 2nd. He and Arjun Srinivasan (78) lifted the score from 42-2 to 237-3
The visitors were limited to 213-8, which included 73 from Connor Rees and 55 from skipper Joe Sheldon, their second-wicket partnership worth 131. Aditya Srinivasan took 4-51.
Wokingham 2nd defeated Sonning by 75 runs. They declared on 211-9 after 50 overs with Matt Keast hitting 115, including 18 boundaries after a second-wicket stand of 80 with opener Tom Hampton (41).
Sonning never recovered from losing both their openers for ducks, and were all out for 136 (Mohammed Zahid 37).
In Division 2A, Tilehurst and Theale dismissed Sulhamstead & Ufton for 120 (Josh Braithwaite 58) with skipper Akram recording excellent figures of 11-3-36-6.
He and Ahmed put on 73 for the first wicket; the hosts replied with 121-3 in 23.1 overs.
Kidmore End shot out White Waltham for 147 (Kelvin Baillie 52; Tom Wilkinson 5-49) and won the game without losing a wicket with George Batty scoring 78 and Sanay Sadhwani 64.
Wargrave 2nd were dismissed for 227 (Oliver Newton 94) and went on to suffer a three-wicket defeat at the hands of Aldershot, Sean McCafferty remaining unbeaten on 73.
There was a close finish at Goosecroft, where Peppard Stoke Row made 260-9 with Danny McAllister hitting 82, Dan Watts 72 and captain Fergus Nutt 42. Purley made 252-5, with skipper George Wheeler 103 not out.
In Division 4A, Wokingham 3rd rolled over Kidmore End 2nd for 100 and knocked them off for the loss of four wickets, Chinmay Kulkarni scoring 55.
Emmbrook and Bearwood posted 241-9 with Jason Middleton making 70 and Connor Simpson 50, and then dismissed Newbury for 132 (Jagit Singh 50).
Joe Richards scored 121 off 110 balls for Goring, but their total of 303-8 was nowhere near sufficient, as Shinfield replied with 307-3 in 43.1 overs, Abhishek Chatterjee making 99 and Sam Charles 98 not out.
Mortimer West End (195-9; Ben Cope 45) lost at Aldershot 2nd by three wickets, the hosts recovering from 29-4 and 90-5 thanks largely to an unbeaten half-century from skipper Zohaib Rafiq's 51 not out.
