Reading have confirmed their squad list for the 2025/26 League One campaign following the closure of the summer transfer window.

Clubs are asked to submit a maximum of 22 in-squad players to the league after every transfer window, which does not include goalkeepers or players under 21 at the start of the year.

In the past two seasons, the Royals have never had more than 13 players named in their squad, with only 11 players being named in February following the closure of the winter window.

However, this time around 19 slots have been used, leaving Noel Hunt with three slots for free agents if he so wishes.

An astrix indicates that the player is home grown from the Academy.

As many Academy players can be named as feels fit, with 28 youngsters named in February. These have not yet been made public by the club or EFL.
