Former Reading defender Michael Hector has returned to football after 10 months out with Dagenham and Redbridge.
The 32-year-old graduated from the Royals Academy and went on to make nearly 80 appearances, earning a big move to Chelsea in 2015.
Failing to make an impact at Stamford Bridge, the Jamaica international had four loan spells away from West London, including a spell with Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga.
He did not stay away from West London for long, however, as he joined Fulham in 2019 and helped the club win promotion to the Premier League in 2020.
A year in League One followed with Charlton Athletic and despite numerous links of returning to the club, Hector did not find a club between May 2024 and March 2025.
Now with the Daggers, the side sit 19th in National League and only one point clear of the relegation zone.
They have played two more matches than Wealdstone, who currently occupy the final relegation space.
