Reading defender Tyler Bindon has withdrawn from New Zealand's international fixtures this month on medical grounds.
The 19-year-old has cemented himself as a standout talent in the EFL over the last 12 months, becoming a regular for the Royals and the international stage.
Winning the OFC Oceanic Cup and appearing in the Olympic Games after a hectic debut campaign as a professional, the teenager has played five times for Ruben Selles this season.
Due to feature in friendlies against Mexico and USA this week, the defender has pulled out after suffering a head injury against Charlton Athletic on Saturday.
Midway through the second half, Bindon was forced off after landing awkwardly on his neck following a collision.
Supporters were concerned, however, Selles admitted that it was not too serious.
"He is okay," the Spaniard said after the victory on Saturday. "They have been going through the concussion protocol to see what it is. The next game is in two weeks so he will have plenty of time to recover."
Charlie Savage (Wales U21), Basil Tuma (Malta U21) and Coniah Boyce-Clarke (Jamaica) are Reading's three international players to keep an eye on during the international break.
