Former Reading youngster Lynford Sackey has returned to Berkshire, moving to non-league side Holyport.
The 21-year-old rose through the ranks with the Royals and made two first-team appearances in the 2020/21 and 2021/22 campaigns.
Both matches- an FA Cup tie against Luton Town and EFL Cup tie against Swansea City- ended in defeat for Reading.
He made the bench once for a Championship fixture but failed to make it onto the pitch.
A former England Under-16 international, Sackey was released in 2022 and moved to Lancashire to link up with Bolton Wanderers' B-Team for the 2022/23 campaign.
Only staying with the Trotters for one season, Sackey has since spent time with Sholing and Berkhampstead in the non-league set-up.
