The EFL have confirmed the dates for next season's transfer window, with the summer period for transfers officially opening in less than a month.
Always a popular period for supporters, full of intrigue and anticipation over which exciting prospect will join their team to improve it.
Reading remain under embargo and cannot sign players for a transfer or loan fee, including wage contributions for temporary additions.
However, that did not stop Mark Bowen, Ruben Selles and Brian Carey bringing 15 players to the club last summer, including the likes of Lewis Wing, Sam Smith and Harvey Knibbs.
Teenager Zane Monlouis was the only January addition, playing six minutes of League One football on loan from Arsenal.
The summer transfer window will open from June 14 and close on 30 August at 11pm.
The winter transfer window will open on January 1 2025 and close on February 3 2025 at 11pm.
