Former Reading defender Tom McIntyre will not get the chance to come up against his boyhood club next week after suffering a season-ending injury last week.
The 25-year-old ended his 20-year association with the Royals last month when he completed a move to league leaders Pompey.
Enduring an eventful debut, the former Scotland youth international was sent off, wrongly, after just 50 minutes and left Fratton Park on crutches after suffering an injury.
Three #Pompey players are set to miss the rest of the 2023/24 campaign:

His three-match suspension has since been rescinded by the Football Association and he would have been eligible to face his former club when the sides meet on Saturday, February 16.
However, the club have since confirmed that the versatile defender will miss the rest of the campaign with a fractured ankle.
Joe Morrell and Tony Devlin will also miss the remainder of the season as John Mousinho's men look to make a first return to the Championship for over a decade.
Charlton Athletic and Fleetwood Town await the Royals before Pompey.
