Reading legend Ivar Ingimarsson returned to Berkshire this week to work alongside his former teammate Noel Hunt and the Under-23s.
Icelander Ingimarsson arrived at Reading in 2003 after spells with Brentford and Wolves before playing more than 280 times and playing every game during the club's record-breaking 2005/06 season.
Winning Player of the Season in the club's inaugural Premiership campaign, the fan favourite eventually left following a failed play-off attempt in 2010/11 and retired after eight appearances for Ipswich Town in 2011/12.
It was so great to have a friend/leader/legend come and speak to our young defenders on Sunday. Ívar Ingimarsson was not only a great player he was a fantastic captain of our amazing football club! Thank u for taking the time to share your wisdom on the art of defending 💙💙💙 pic.twitter.com/YqryXHAEty

Now 46 and back in his native Iceland, the centre-back spent some time in Berkshire and made a visit to Bearwood Park.
Hunt, Ingimarsson's former Royals teammate and current Under-23 manager, said: "It was so great to have a friend/leader/legend come and speak to our young defenders on Sunday. Ívar Ingimarsson was not only a great player he was a fantastic captain of our amazing football club! Thank u for taking the time to share your wisdom on the art of defending."
