Ahh, the day everyone in football dreads, but also fills every supporter with trepidation and excitement...transfer deadline day.
Unfortunately for Reading fans, there will be no excitement this year. Just fear and frustration.
The only club in League One to have not made an addition this month, this is not expected to change ahead of the 11 pm cut-off tomorrow evening (February 1).
All attention will be on the exit door at Bearwood as the club looks to keep hold of its prized assets.
Bit more news came my way this morning. Told Plymouth have enquired over a late transfer swoop for #readingfc starlet Femi Azeez. Decision whether or not to sell will be purely down to Dai Yongge.

The likes of Femi Azeez, Harvey Knibbs and Sam Smith will have all piqued the interest of fellow third-tier clubs, especially Azeez with just six months on his contract.
At the time of writing, the club had no intention of letting any of their star performers walk out of the door, the door that the likes of Tom McIntyre and Nelson Abbey have already slipped out of.
That is not to say that there will be no movement in Berkshire.
28 hours is a long time in football, so who knows with any certainty what will transpire over tomorrow?
The Reading Chronicle will be bringing you all the latest from the Royals, with a live blog taking you all the way up to the 11 pm deadline.
