Reading Buses have announced that they are altering the Reading Football Club matchday services ''to better reflect the attendance figures.'

Now in the third tier, for the first time in over 20 years, crowds have dropped to their lowest levels since 2000.

Prices have been increased for buses this year, with a shuttle service from Reading Station still running.

The opening of Green Park Station will also have contributed to less usage, with many away supporters opting for the railways.

From Saturday, January 27, changes will be made to some football bus routes in Caversham, Purley and Tilehurst.

Take a look below at the changes coming up.

F11 - Emmer Green to Reading FC Stadium

"This route will no longer run, however, fans will be able to use the F10 route, which serves all bus stops along the F11 route.

F13 - Caversham Park to Reading FC Stadium

"This route will no longer run, however, fans in the Caversham Park section will be able to use the F14 route which will be rerouted to now serve this area. The F14 will stop at all stops on the F13 route except for Fraser Avenue, Kiln Road, Cavendish Road, Barnard Close and Aerial View. Fans using these stops will either be able to catch the F10 from the same stop or walk to the nearest stop on the F10 or F14.

F14 - Henley to Reading FC Stadium

"This route is being rerouted to now also serve Caversham Park. It will also no longer run via Dunsden Green and instead remain on Henley Road towards Caversham after the Shiplake College stop. It will then stop at the Garden Centre stop on Henley Road and run via Caversham Park Road stopping at Devon Drive, Dumbarton Way, Littlestead Close, Osterley Drive, Queensway, Northbrook Road, Milestone Centre, Montpelier Drive, Galsworthy Drive and Earlsfield Close before resuming the current F14 route from Henley Road County Boundary.

"It will repeat this loop on the return journey from the stadium.

F24 - Purley to Reading FC Stadium

"This route will no longer run, however, fans will be able to use either the F23 route for stops in Purley or our F22 for stops in Tilehurst."
