Radio X presenter, and son of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire icon Chris Tarrant, Toby Tarrant, opened up on his feelings toward Reading after donating to the protest fund.

Chris has been a Royals supporter since childhood and is a regular matchgoer with Sir John Madejski.

He was a founder of the Pride of Reading awards and has hosted them for over a decade.

Reading Chronicle:

Toby Tarrant, who was a regular at the SCL Stadium as a youngster with his Reading-born famous father, contributed to the Sell Before We Dai fund.

They have raised almost £4,000 in just two days to help toward future plans.

Very effective since their formation over the summer, matchday protests, national media attention and parliamentary support have all helped push Reading's cause.

Yongge has overseen six years of negligent ownership with 16 points deducted and countless transfer embargoes.

Overdue with tax payments, there are fears that administration could be the only way out.

Taking to social media after donating to the cause, Tarrant said: "Reading is a club very close to my heart. My first taste of live football was watching them with Dad and I always look out for there results and watch as many games as I can. The way it's being run is a disgrace. The staff, players and fans deserve better."

A march from the town centre to the stadium has been arranged for the match at home to Portsmouth on Saturday, October 28.
