Reading will face Tottenham Hotspur, Bristol City and Southampton in this year's Continental Cup.

The Conti Cup, the sponsored name for the FA Women's League Cup, pits teams from the top two divisions of the women's game against each other in groups before a knock-out phase commences.

The Royals will be in Group D with Spurs, the Saints and the Robins.

Each play each other once, with exact dates and venues not decided upon.

Reading came second in their group last time out, last progressing into the knock-out phase in 2020.

Arsenal won the competition last time out, beating Chelsea at Wembley Stadium for their sixth title.

This will be the first time in over five years that Reading will be in the competition as a second tier side.
