Reading are just one month away from beginning their first League One campaign for over 20 years.

A first visit to what was the 'New Meadow' upon opening in 2007, you have to go back to 1991 and a trip to Gay Meadow for the last meeting.

Wycombe Wanderers- Adams Park
A particularly local trip to Buckinghamshire, fans were robbed of the chance to visit Adams Park in the Championship three years ago as Covid-19 put a stop to supporters attending matches.
Royals fans will be pleased in hindsight, with a disappointing midweek defeat to the Chairboys.

DECEMBER
Lincoln City- Sincil Bank
One of the lesser visited grounds, with just 12 trips since 1961, there have been no meetings of any kind in the 21st century.

Peterborough United- London Road
Another Boxing Day and another away games as Royals fans will travel to the Posh in festive spirits.

Cheltenham Town- Whaddon Road
Reading have never had a league encounter with the Robins, meeting four times in the FA Cup since 1950.
In contention for the best sponsorship name of a stadium, fans will head to the Completely Suzuki Stadium on Friday, December 29.

JANUARY
Stevenage- Lamex Stadium
Yet another ground never visited for league action, Reading are unbeaten in two FA Cup visits to the Boro.
Playing as recently as last season, Steve Evans' side knocked Paul Ince's Royals out of the Carabao Cup in round one.

Wigan Athletic- DW Stadium
