Reading youth product Liam Kelly has made a return to the EFL with Crawley Town, after suffering relegation to the National League with Rochdale last season.
The 27-year-old spent 15 years on the books of Reading, making almost 100 first-team appearances, particularly impressing under Jaap Stam in his breakout 2016/17 campaign.
Making a bold move to Dutch giants Feyenoord in 2019, he struggled to adapt and played just twice in two years.
The Republic of Ireland youth international joined Rochdale in 2021 and the diminutive starlet shone in Greater Manchester.
Dropping out of the EFL last season with the Spotland outfit, he moves back to the south with the Red Devils.
A tumultuous campaign, Crawley had three managers and finished just three points clear of relegation.
Crawley finished 22nd in League Two last year, the place immediately above the drop zone.
He has signed a two-year-deal in Sussex.
