Reading favourite Adam Le Fondre has left Sydney FC after five years.
Affectionately known as 'Alfie', the striker scored 41 times in 110 appearances for the Royals as Brian McDermott's men won promotion to the Premier League.
Going on to have a successful spell with Bolton Wanderers, the 36-year-old moved 'Down Under' in 2018.
Le Fondre leaves the club second on Sydney FC’s all-time goal-scorers list with 73 goals in 128 games.

He was twice named in the PFA Team Of The Year in 2018-19 and 2019-20, winning two Championships, a Premiership and reaching three consecutive Grand Finals.
“My time with Sydney FC has been fantastic, it has been a joy to work with every player and member of staff and to play in front of our fabulous Members and fans,” said Le Fondre on the Sky Blues' official page
“I would have loved to have stayed and gone on to break Brosquey’s goalscoring record at Sydney FC however understand the club wants to make a change.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity to have played here and to have been so successful and I look forward to a new challenge in my career.”
