Former England star Fara Williams admits she is 'devastated' after the news that Reading Women are to drop down to part-time.
Williams, who spent four years playing for Reading from 2017 until 2021, is the highest cap holder for the national team with 172 appearances.
Now a prominent pundit across both the men and women's game, she took to social media after news broke that Reading are to drop to part-time after relegation from the Women's Super League.

Such a sad day that this is STILL happening in women’s football. Really feel for people who I know associated with this club. Another let down and backwards step in what we thought was a growing and progressive sport! https://t.co/1oAotJ7zn5
